Career Pathways Workshop April 16-17, 2013

UAAGood afternoon all,

Please see the enclosed draft agenda and flyer for the upcoming Career Pathway Leadership Certification workshop in Anchorage, April 16-17.   The workshop will be held at University of Alaska Anchorage, Consortium Library, room 307.  Box lunches will be provided both days.

Follow this link to register for the workshop:  Registration for NCPN Workshop.

The workshop is being presented by the National Career Pathway Network (NCPN) trainers.  NCPN is a program of the Center for Occupational Research and Development – CORD workshop is being offered at no charge to participants, however there are no travel scholarships available for this workshop.

We have not arranged a hotel for participants but  the closest one is the Springhill Suites .

As background, this will be applicable to all career clusters, tailored for the Alaska Career Pathway framework and tools, while including a deeper dive on health career pathways.  Participation also includes membership to the National Career Pathway Network, which will give you access to even more national models, resources, tools, etc.

We hope that as many of you as possible can join us. It can be particularly valuable for teams of secondary and post-secondary partners to use in planning or enhancing the programs in their region which help students explore career pathways and make successful transitions to post-secondary and work.

If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to let me know!
