UAA CTE Survey – please help

imgres    During the spring semester 2013 the UAA Community & Technical College will be conducting a needs assessment of CTE teachers and administrators to define and prioritize professional development needs.. Kelly Donnelly, Program Coordinator, will be reaching out to representative school districts to arrange structured interviews with teachers from February through April. In May an electronic survey will be distributed via the CTE listserv, professional organizations, and CTE department listserv.

Ak Workforce Investment Board – rfp

AWIB_Logo The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Alaska Workforce Investment Board (AWIB), anticipates receiving state funding for FY14 to support implementation of strategies and actions identified in the Alaska Career and Technical Education Plan.  The AWIB and its CTE Plan partners, the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development and the University of Alaska Statewide, invite eligible applicants to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance CTE opportunities for all Alaskans. Applications for this one-year funding are due by April 19, 2013.  Final grant awards are dependent on the AWIB’s receipt of state funding for this program.

ACRP: Personalizing College and Career Readiness

The Partnership grant applications are due by April 1, with the Intent to Award date as April 19.

The Postsecondary applications are due by April 5, with the tentative Intent to Award date as April 22.
